The Heart of the square in Birchington-On-Sea our family run village pub The Powell has everything you require for a relaxing stay with us. After a total refurbishment we are now offering 6 luxury boutique rooms all with en suites. Each of our unique rooms have Egyptian cotton bed linen, flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi & hairdryer. In your en-suite marble bathroom your will find a spacious shower, fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries.
We have an extensive bar serving cask ales, a good selection of fine wines and a superb choice of spirits. We have seasonal lunch & dinner menus and a fresh choice of fish every day! If your joining us on a Sunday, we also offer a traditional home cooked roast with all the trimmings. We source local produce whenever possible and all our desserts are homemade. We have a beautiful beamed restaurant and orangery where breakfast will be served next to All Saints Church, a cosy snug and bar with log burners and terrace seating overlooking Birchington Square.
We are in the centre of the village, 10-minute drive from coastal Margate, 25 minutes’ drive from historic Canterbury and only a 5-minute walk from a main train station to London…

The six rooms are all accessed by a flight of stairs and we have no disabled access onto the 1st & 2nd floor where the rooms are situated. We do have wheelchair access through the front of the pub into the bar and dining areas.
